The prestigious Eastside Rooms played host to the 7th Midlands Food Drink & Hospitality Awards 2024, a night filled with energy, high-spirited celebrations, and recognition of excellence in the industry. Hosted by the enigmatic Dan Kelly, the evening kicked off with the vibrant beats of ‘Hit the Dhol,’ followed by an electrifying performance from the Undercover Artists that had the entire room on their feet, embodying the celebratory spirit of B Events ceremonies.
Kieron Bailey, an accomplished panel host, keynote speaker, podcast host, and webinar producer, delivered an inspiring keynote. With over three decades in the hospitality industry, Kieron’s expertise in “It’s a Retention Thing” and “It’s an Experience Thing” resonated deeply with the audience.
The awards honoured everything from outstanding team achievements to rising stars in the Midlands. Categories ranged from Chef of the Year and Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year to Food/Drink Festival of the Year and Cocktail Bar of the Year. The event also supported Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Launched by co-founders Anita Chumber and Ifraz Ahmed, B Events has become recognised for delivering impactful events. Their awards ceremonies, round tables, exhibitions, and showcases spotlight the region’s excellence.
