We want to recognise organisations within this industry for their sustainable projects and activities that properly manage their people, operate in an ethical manner and reduce their carbon footprint for a more global sustainable future.
We want to ensure an ongoing involvement, provide the industry with examples of best practices in and encourage more and more organisations to adopt these principles.
The 5th Midlands Food Drink & Hospitality Awards will take place on Monday 4th July 2022 at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham.
We are proud to have Too Good To Go as the sponsor for this important category. Too Good To Go have created a service which minimises food waste, by getting cafes, restaurants, hotels, shops and manufacturers to use their Too Good to Go app, which lets you buy and collect the food, at a great price, that these establishments would usually throw away, just because it’s not sold in time.

Jamie Crummie – Co-Founder and Director said: “I’m thrilled for Too Good To Go to be supporting this year’s ceremony, especially with the introduction of the inaugural Sustainable Food Business of the Year award. Sustainability in food has never been more of a hot topic as both businesses and consumers are becoming more and more conscious of the impact we’re having on the planet. This is a fantastic opportunity to recognise some of the many exciting sustainability initiatives that food businesses are introducing in the Midlands – I can’t wait to see who the award goes to on the night!”
