Birmingham is well established as the epicentre of culinary excellence, and this awards ceremony will celebrate the best of Birmingham.
The Birmingham Food Drink & Hospitality Awards will be held in the city this summer, celebrating the genius of the best talent. Whether one has a roaring restaurant trade, a coveted chef, a master mixologist or the best bed and breakfast in town, this is a chance for them all to shine.
The award ceremony’s mantra is “Eat, Drink, Sleep, Repeat” and is open to all restaurants, bars, pubs and hotels in the city’s hospitality sector. The award ceremony itself will take place at Edgbaston Stadium on Monday 6th June 2016 with an expected 500 guests.
The editor of the prestigious Michelin Guide has heralded Birmingham’s restaurant scene as “world class” and it’s not hard to see why. Dining in the Midlands is now a Gastronome’s dream with 5 Michelin starred restaurants, the most a city has outside London, a plethora of rosettes awarded and AA Guide recommendations. From fine dining, great curry houses, international cuisine, street food and many pop-up festivals for street food, ales and cider, Birmingham has it all.
