The Midlands Food Drink & Hospitality Awards is proud to announce that the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has been chosen as the Charity for the night.

The Air Ambulance Charity is a vital service operating three air ambulances across the six Midlands counties: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands, and is the largest air ambulance operating in the entire UK. It has responded to over 47,000 casualties, averaging 2000 a year.

Run entirely on donations, the charity receives zero government funding or national lottery funding, which is why we have chosen to help support it and get the word out about this fantastic, life-saving and vital service.

The MFDH Awards will be shining a light on the good work done by the charity as well as the good will of the public and local businesses who help keep it airborne. The awards will be held on 26th June at the Edgbaston Stadium.
