Ahmed is the founder of Dine, an online guide for discovering the best food and drink experiences in your local area.

Over the years, he and a team of contributors have charted the evolution of our food and drink scene: from the high profile chefs, to the street food heroes and the burgeoning bar culture.

His professional background in digital and social media marketing has helped Dine to build an engaged online community of food lovers numbering in the tens of thousands.

Ahmed is also an organiser of popular food and drink events, including Birmingham Independent Food Fair, a showcase of local producers, and Birmingham Rum Festival, a celebration of premium rums and mixology.

As a food writer, he has shared his passion for the region’s gastronomy with national audiences via Olive magazine, Time Out and The Guardian.
